This is one of my favourite beach/surfing photos. I haven’t spent much time down at the beach recently, I really should change that. With this image I was fortunate with the timing. The National Surfing Champs were due to start that morning and I was following the light and making my way across the rocks at St Clair. As I did so one of the major female contenders for the Open Section just happened to launch herself into the surf at the same time. I kinda like the end result. It took me a good ten minutes of waiting in this spot to get the timing right with traffic heading both up and down the hill for this shot. I was almost about to give up when a line of traffic came up and down the hill and around the corner of Ross and City Roads between Belleknowes and Roslyn here in Dunedin NZ. For those who like the technical stuff it's 13 seconds, f16 at 100 ISO.
On the Corner of High and Princess Streets in Dunedin’s chilly morning in air. Taking some time to listen to the rhythm of the traffic in city and lingering for a moment as the lights cast their glow. John's Blog https://blog.caswellimages.com/ The latest print price guide: https://bit.ly/3oLw9OI
