Among the many things to like about Malahide in Dublin is the fact that it has a castle, it is very walkable and it has many wonderfully hospitable pubs. I spent a very lovely afternoon wandering past the seawall, along the beach and following the Coast Road to a point where I was no longer sure where I was. Then, I turned around and decided the walk back would be sufficient enough to have earned a beer at the delightful local tavern called Gibney's.
